winhqPSG have completed the permanent sale of Milan Skriniar to Fenerbahce, following a loan spell for the defender in Turkey in the second half of last season.

sg777According to L’Equipe, PSG and the Istanbul giants have reached a full agreement with the transfer fee estimated to be around €10m [$11.5m], however some Turkish sources suggest the figure could be closer to €6m [$7m] or €7m [$8m].

phcashSkrniar returned to PSG training base on July 16 but talks had already been underway on his exit.

The Slovakia international will sign a four-year contract at Fenerbahce, where he is set to earn €7.5m [$8.6m]per year including bonuses, according various reports.

The deal allows PSG to offload his salary which reached€1.1m [$1.3m]per month in 2024.

Skriniar joined PSG in 2023 as a free agent after leaving Inter Milan, where he had won the Serie A title and was part of the squad that reached the UEFA Champions League final.

During the 2023/24 season he suffered an ankle injury that kept him out for more than two months, but by the time he returned, he'd lost his starting spot and was unable to reclaim it.

PSG turned to other options in central defense including Marquinhos, Lucas Beraldo, Lucas Hernandez and Willian Pacho leaving him frustrated with his limited minutes.

He joined Fenerbahce in January where he became a regular starter under Jose Mourinho and helped the Turkish club finish second in the league while also reaching the Europa League Round of 16.
